Dear Heninger Families and Community,
As we close another school year, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our students, families, staff, and community for the support, partnership, and care you have shown throughout the year.
A special thank you goes to our families who volunteered their time, attended student presentations, celebrated performances, participated in school events, and partnered with us. When families engage in the life of our school, our students feel encouraged, valued, and inspired to do their best. Your involvement strengthens our
Heninger community and supports us in the important work of helping every child learn, grow, and thrive.
As we head into summer, we hope you and your loved ones enjoy a well-deserved break filled with rest, happy memories, and time together. We encourage you to stay connected through ParentSquare for updates, community resources, and important information throughout the summer.
We look forward to welcoming our Heninger All-Stars back for the 2026–27 school year. The first day of school will be Monday, August 10, 2026.
On behalf of the entire Heninger staff, thank you for being such an important part of Heninger. We are grateful for your trust, partnership, and continued support.

Al concluir otro año escolar, deseamos expresar nuestros más sincero agradecimiento a nuestros estudiantes, familias, personal y comunidad por el apoyo, la colaboración y el cuidado que han demostrado a lo largo del año.
Les damos un agradecimiento muy especial a las familias que ofrecieron su tiempo como voluntarios, asistieron a las presentaciones estudiantiles, celebraron las actuaciones, participaron en eventos escolares y trabajaron en colaboración con nosotros. Cuando las familias forman parte de la vida de nuestra escuela, nuestros estudiantes se sienten apoyados, valorados e inspirados a dar lo mejor de sí mismos. Su participación fortalece a nuestra comunidad de Heninger y nos ayuda en la importante labor de apoyar a cada estudiante para que aprenda, crezca y alcance su máximo potencial.

About Us
At our elementary schools, the future begins with a strong foundation in learning. We focus on building essential early literacy and math skills, while fostering curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning. Early College
High school students can take college courses and earn credit toward their degree while still enrolled in SAUSD.

Free Summer Meals Now Available Across SAUSD
SAUSD’s Summer Meals Program is now underway, providing free breakfast and lunch to youth 18 and under, as well as eligible adults with disabilities.
With more than 60 locations across the District, families can access nutritious meals throughout the summer at convenient neighborhood sites.
Community members are encouraged to visit a nearby location and take advantage of this valuable resource.

SAUSD AVID Students Earn More Than $1 Million in College Scholarships and Financial Aid
